Rules & Regulations Of The School

Admission to every class implies an undertaking on the part of the student to respect the school rules, regulation and the discipline of the institution. The rules of the school are as under:

  • Every student must attend school punctually and regularly. Leave of absence shall only be granted for bonafide reasons.
  • Attendance in the morning Assembly is compulsory. Students must maintain reverential attitude during the prayer and do nothing that may be detrimental to the devotional and moral tone of the Assembly.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the school premises after 10.25 a.m. and disciplinary action will be taken against frequent late comers.
  • If any student wishes to remain back after school or comes during holidays for games, consent letter from Parents must be handed over to the concerned P.T. Teacher. Students must report to the games room.
  • Students must not remain in the class room after school hours. If found, the school authority will take disciplinary action against him/her.
  • Besides the Principal and the staff, the school Head Girl / Head Boy and all the House captains, prefects have the responsibility of maintaining discipline of the school. During the absence of a teacher, pupils must obey the class monitor appointed to maintain order and discipline in the class, failing which, strict measures will be taken against the concerned students
  • a) No ‘ Early Leave’ shall be granted to students. In special cases, permission may be given at the discretion of the school authority. Students will not be permited to leave without parental escort.
  • b) No student will be granted short leave after exams. In case of emergency or illness the student is advised not to attend school.
  • A pupil who is found to be irregular in his/her attendance without bonafide reasons or without any explanation from the guardian will face serious consequences and withdrawal notice may be issued.
  • Observance of birthday, taking part in private excursion, preparation for an examination are not considered as valid reasons for absentism
  • Attendance of every student on the opening day of the school session in April and on the opening day after vacation is compulsory. Anything contrary to this must be intimated to the school well in advance, otherwise, it will be considered as punishable offence.
  • It is mandatory for every student to attend all the school functions e.g. Annual Sports, Independence Day, Republic Day Celebration, Cultural Programmes etc.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required for promotion for the next higher class.
  • The pupils shall not be allowed to sit for the terminal examination if school fees are not up-to- date.
  • Students are not allowed to meet any outside visitors including parents/guardians during school hours unless prior permission is sought.
  • Pupils are not allowed to enter the school office without prior permission.
  • Celebration of any kind with cakes, cold drinks etc. is strictly prohibited in the school premises
  • No extraneous books, periodicals, magazines and newspapers of an objectionable nature shall be brought to school.
  • (a) Cbse Has Given Clear Instruction That Students Must Not Bring Mobile Phones / I-pods/electronic Goods, Smart Phone Watches To School. Please Note That If Any Student Is Found Carrying These Items, Inside The School Premises, During School Hours, They Will Be Confiscated, Will Not Be Returned And A Fine Imposed, As Per School Rules.
  • (b) Carrying of C.D. Cassettes, Walkmans, Cameras, i-pods, Laptops, Smart Phone watches and any electronic goods/gadgets etc. are not allowed within the school premises without the prior written permission of the school authority. If any of the above items are found, they will be confiscated, and a fine will be imposed.
  • (c) Students will be penalised if found to be carrying crackers or explosives.
  • (d) A fine will be imposed if a student is found using abusive language/objectionable words.
  • Any student found violating these clauses, will be taken to task and serious disciplinary action will be taken.
  • Any damage done to school properties by any student must be made good by the student concerned.
  • Books,stationary, bags, tiffin box, blazer, garments, etc. should bear the name and class of the students. School authority takes no responsibility for loss of any such articles. Students are not allowed to bring expensive articles to school.
  • Students who bring bicycles to school should keep them properly locked at the place provided for bicycles. The school is not responsible for any loss or theft
  • No student is allowed to drive motorised vehicles. In case this rule is violated, parents, guardians may be requested to withdraw their wards.
  • A fit certificate from a medical practitioner must be produced when a student attends his/her class after an absence due to illness caused by contagious/infectious disease.
  • Students who will be selected for the school team (games) must come for practice as per instruction given to them.

Important Notes To Guardians

  • Parents are requested to update mobile numbers. In case of absence the school will alert through SMS.
  • While dropping wards at the school gate, parents / guardians are requested to check the school notice board/confirm with the gate keeper regarding any exigencies like excess rain, strike etc. that might lead to the school being closed for that particular day. The school authorities will not be responsible for any untoward circumstances arising from such emergency like situations.
  • According to C.B.S.E. affiliation by-Laws Clause 39/1 no staff member shall undertake private or any other tuition.The school does not encourage private tuition. Remedial classes are conducted on a regular basis for weak students. Special classes are also arranged by experienced teachers which the students must attend. All teachers are available to help students.
  • Any communication from the parents must be addressed to the Principal through the class teacher
  • The guardians are earnestly requested to extend their full cooperation to the school authorities.
  • by urging their wards to be punctual and regular in attendance.
  • by following up daily class work and home work assigned to their wards.
  • by taking remedial measures when their wards are found weak in certain subject (subjects).
  • by insisting their wards to be neat and clean in educational work and also in personal appearance.
  • by advising the wards in following the school rules strictly.
  • by taking active interest in the progress of their wards.
  • by contacting the Principal or class-teacher by prior appointment in case of their wards facing difficulties in their studies.
  • by providing tiffin to their wards and discouraging them from having food from outside vendors.
  • by clearing all dues payable to the school within the stipulated time.
  • by ensuring that their wards do not possess any contagious disease while attending the school.
  • by ensuring that their wards do not loiter on the roads, near the school gate after school hours. This may cause mishaps.
  • by ensuring that their wards do not while away time aimlessly after returning home from school.
  • by creating a very congenial atmosphere at home to enable their wards to develop themselves mentally, morally and socially.
  • The Guardians/Parents are forbidden to bring or distribute cakes and savouries during their wards’ birthdays or on any special occasion.
  • Guardians/Parents may please note that they can meet the Principal by prior appointment only on working days between 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.
  • Students can avail of counselling sessions between 4.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. (by appointment). Students and Parents can contact the Principal, Vice-Principal or Class Teachers. The School Authority reserves the right to ask students to attend the counselling sessions, if and when required.
